What to Wear to a Trampoline Park Birthday Party

Planning on visiting a trampoline park near you for a kid’s birthday party? Or maybe you just saw our ad online and wanted to check it out. Either way, when planning your trip, there are a few things to consider. One of the most important decisions to make is what to wear to the trampoline park. At Elevate Trampoline Park, we encourage you to wear clothing that will allow you to enjoy your time to the fullest. Here are some tips on how to dress for maximum fun.

Tops

When jumping and moving at a trampoline park, you’ll want to wear a tight fitting tee shirt that won’t move around on you. A baggy shirt will fly up in your face and expose skin while you jump. On the other hand, a strapless top or a tank top with spaghetti straps may shift or get pulled down, causing an embarrassing moment that could have been avoided.

Bottoms

Wearing attire that’s appropriate and safe for the lower half of your body is equally important. You should wear tight fitting pants, like yoga pants, leggings, or workout pants, that don’t restrict movement or have seams that will rub against and irritate your skin. While it might seem sensible to wear shorts to the trampoline park, it’s actually not a good idea because shorts expose a greater amount of skin and put you at risk for trampoline or plastic burn. Skirts are also a poor choice of attire because they will fly up and expose skin and undergarments and could ruin your jumping experience.

Additional Attire Tips

Wear shoes that are easy to slip off and on so that you can maximize your jump time. Shoes are not allowed on any of our equipment. Leave your regular socks at home, too. At Elevate, we have special jump socks available for purchase. These socks help you grip the trampolines and plastic climbing areas, minimize the risk of slipping, and help keep the equipment and trampoline surfaces clean. Jump socks are required for all jumpers and can be purchased upon arrival for $3.00. These socks can be worn again and again when you visit the park.

Don’t bring a large purse or bag. Storage area is limited, so you’ll want to bring in as few possessions as possible in order to protect your belongings and store them safely.

Remove all jewelry, especially anything that dangles or has a long chain. Hanging jewelry could get caught and pulled off or broken. Not only could your jewelry be damaged, but you could also hurt yourself or others. It’s best to avoid this risk.

Tie back longer hair so that it stays out of your face and eyes while jumping. You’ll be cooler and more comfortable while you enjoy your time at the park.

Wear the paper wristband you receive at check-in so that the attendants know you’re a paying customer.

We want your kid’s birthday party or other jumping experience to be fun, energizing, and safe. Wearing the right attire is one way you can make sure this happens. We can’t wait to see you enjoy all the attractions at Elevate Trampoline Park in Erie!
